ComplyAuto partners with the Center for Internet Security (CIS) for enhanced cybersecurity offerings

ComplyAuto and the Center for Internet Security (CIS) have partnered to put our clients on the cutting edge of cyber threat prevention, protection, response, and recovery. CIS is a community-driven nonprofit that establishes globally recognized best practices for security IT systems and data.

“We welcome ComplyAuto as a CIS SecureSuite Member, and look forward to collaborating with them to help enhance their cybersecurity posture and that of their clients,” said Curtis Dukes, CIS Executive Vice President of Security Best Practices & Automation Group.

Moving forward, all clients who are using our Safeguards Rule product for Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act compliance will be able to leverage ComplyAuto’s access to the CIS suite of tools noted below to reinforce their cybersecurity and data protection protocols at no additional cost. ComplyAuto’s use of the advanced tools and resources that CIS provides will help speed the adoption of organizational security best practices. For example, ComplyAuto can now help dealers run powerful misconfiguration scans across their entire network. Additionally, ComplyAuto can help dealers assess their compliance with the CIS Controls, which has been referenced by several state agencies, including the California Attorney General, as a model framework for cybersecurity best practices.
