In our efforts to provide more value to our clients across the country, we are proud to announce that ComplyAuto has received approval from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to administer Section 609 Technician Training and Certification Program (TT&C Program). Here’s a quick summary of what it is and how you can go about activating the training:
What is it?
The EPA requires that all technicians who work on motor vehicle air condition systems take an EPA-certified technician training and certification program. It is a lifetime certification, but be sure to hold on to any wall-size or wallet-size certifications as that is your proof!
How much is it?
Just out of curiosity, most providers charge anywhere between $20 to $40 per exam. All current ComplyAuto Safety and EduTech clients will be able to access the TT&C Program for free at no additional cost.
